Considering the inconvenience of selling fruits and vegetables of farmers in Barshi taluka and nearby talukas, a separate fruits and vegetables section has been constructed for the farmers. 82 stalls have been constructed in this section. Also, two grand sale halls of 10,000 sq ft have been constructed for auction to sell fruits and vegetables of farmers. The market committee has provided infrastructure facilities like internal roads, street lights, toilets, toilets, hotels for the farmers in the fruits and vegetables section. Also, since apples arrive in large quantities every Friday, traders from Solapur district and neighboring Dharashiv, Beed, Ahmednagar etc. districts are coming in large numbers for purchase.
