Agricultural Product Market Committee Barshi had set up a 100-bed Covid Care Center with all services and facilities for Covid patients in the fruits and vegetables section of the main market premises. The market committee has spent Rs. 16 lakh 17 thousand 239 for it. As per the order of the Maharashtra Government, Rs. 1 lakh each has been provided through the market committee for the Hon. Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Hon. Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
As a social commitment during the Corona pandemic, the Agricultural Product Market Committee Barshi has provided financial assistance of Rs. 25 lakh for the Dedicated Covid Care Hospital (DCH) at Karmaveer Dr. Jagdale Mama Hospital, Barshi. As per the order of the Maharashtra Government, financial assistance has been provided in the Corona pandemic.
As per the order of the Maharashtra Government, 4,000 kits of essential food grains were distributed to the poor and needy sections of the market committee, who were in financial crisis due to the Corona pandemic. For this, an expenditure of Rs. 20 lakhs has been made through the market committee.
