Administrative Department: Procedures and Management

The administrative department of the Market Committee is the backbone of the day-to-day operations of the organization. This department performs various important responsibilities, which ensure the smooth and regular functioning of the organization.

The main functions of this department are as follows

    To control the internal employees and manage all the establishment-related activities, which improves the efficiency of the employees.
  • Rules and Procedures
    To formulate rules and procedures (manuals) related to work and ensure their implementation.
  • Encroachments and Violations
    To monitor the encroachments and violations of rules in the market premises and take legal action against them.
  • Supply Management
    To ensure timely availability of writing material and stationery required for the organization.
  • Meetings and Amendments of the Organization
    To organize the annual general meeting of the organization and to amend the by-laws. Making corrections as required.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    Taking and implementing necessary decisions regarding the cleanliness, sanitation and safety of the market premises.
